The Veles Group Policies on Generative Artificial Intelligence
Navigating the Promise and Risks of Generative AI
At The Veles Group, we are committed to helping our clients understand and navigate both the opportunities and challenges of generative artificial intelligence (genAI). We can provide evidence-based guidance on implementing genAI effectively—and on how this technology may impact your organization, stakeholders, or constituents.
Our Approach to genAI
Generative AI is a powerful tool, but it comes with well-documented logical, legal, ethical, and regulatory risks. For this reason, The Veles Group does not use genAI to generate deliverables for clients. While the technology is impressive, it cannot replace human expertise, context, and innovation. In fact, genAI is prone to significant challenges, including:
- Accuracy concerns — susceptibility to hallucinations and the generation of false or non-existent sources,
- Transparency and reproducibility limits — difficulty in verifying methods or results.
- LLM-specific bias.
- Privacy and security risks — increased exposure to data misuse and cybersecurity threats.
- Legal concerns – potential exposure to copyright infringement.
Our Commitment to Quality
Every product we deliver is crafted and reviewed by scientific experts in their respective fields, then undergoes additional quality assurance by The Veles Group to ensure it meets the highest professional standards. Our clients can rely on us for information and recommendations that are unbiased, evidence-based, and rigorously validated.
Responsible Use Policy
While we do not use genAI to produce client deliverables, The Veles Group may responsibly apply the technology for limited purposes such as editing and formatting documents, or enhancing visuals created by our experts. We continually monitor the evolution of genAI technologies and will adapt our policies as needed—always guided by the strongest ethical, legal, security, and scientific standards.
